My Rabbit's upper tooth root is severely infected due to which she has a recurrent abscess, watery eyes & runny nose, drooling & difficulty chewing.
Rabbit abscesses have a higher probability of returning than abscesses in cats, dogs, or humans. This can be related to factors such as difficulty in removing all the abscessed tissue due to location, the inability of antibiotics in the blood to penetrate the abscess wall, draining tracts coming off the abscess, and the possibility that the underlying cause was not treated.
Complete surgical removal of the abscess, along with treatment of the underlying cause, gives the rabbit the best chance for a complete cure.
In this case, the best choice of treatment is the Extraction of the affected tooth.
I'm currently not in a situation to bear the expenses of Honey's further treatment.
I'd request you all to please come forward to support me in her surgery. Any contribution will be of immense help. Do contribute and share this campaign link with your friends and family and help save a life.
