A Horrible Road Accident Nearly Killed his brother, They given Up Everything To Save His Life
I remember a voice at the back of my head saying something went wrong. My brother always got home at a certain time after his small time job of Cricket umpiring, but that evening he was too late.
Despite my unease, I never expected the call we got from someone.
“Deepanshu was in an accident. The people who found him are saying... that he died...”_
While Deepanshu did in fact survive, his fate wasn’t much better than death
22-year-old Deepanshu had been coming home from his small time job of cricket umpiring in the evening from Noida when – on an abandoned stretch of road – a vehicle rammed into and sent him sprawling. His head was cracked open, his brain suffered a traumatic injury from being rattled inside the hard bones of his skull, and he fractured multiple ribs, which punctured his lungs, Nose bone was totally damaged with multiple fractures in jaws. Miraculously, he survived... but he went into a coma.
“By the grace of God, some young men who had been walking that way noticed him lying unconscious and ran to help him and got him admitted in near hospital I.e. Manipal Hospital (formally Columbia asia, Ghaziabad). It was nearly an hour after the accident, and... my brother had nearly bled to death. While they rushed him to the hospital, one of them checked his belongings to contact us. By the time we reached the hospital, Deepanshu was in a coma.”
As a small time worker, Rajat has never earned much. He has been saving up money to try and give her father medical bills. Deepanshu, who was doing a part time cricket umpiring job, just to add a bit monetary support for his family. He wanted to pursue his career in Cricket. But over the past few days, not only has Rajat used up all her savings, He has even had to borrow money from moneylenders to meet daily operation cost at hospital, still it's not sufficient. He also need to feed family, take care of sister’s education.
Deepanshu is still in coma and expected expenses are beyond 20 lakhs and years to get recovery. God knows when he will be out of coma stage.
