During rains, water starts seeping through the walls and the ground underneath. During floods, it gets worse! The house being situated in a low lying area the house gets submerged in water upto 2-3 feet. Deepak being the sole earning member of his family works in Mumbai, Maharashtra and the family back in Bihar gets very stranded with limited help during these difficult times.
With his parents ageing and his daughter growing up, Deepak already has too many expenses and can't afford to build a home at this point in time. But, at the same time, he is extremely worried about the safety of his family during rains/floods. And more than that, the family has to incur a lot of uncalled damages after the rainy season in terms of repair and loss.
Deepak is now looking to convert his mud house into a concrete house which at least can withstand adverse weather conditions while giving basic safety to both his growing daughter and his ageing parents. We are looking to raise 5 lakhs for the same. If this cause resonates with you and if you are looking to help/donate, plz don't hesitate to contact me. No administrative charges or commission, 100% of your donation will be directly utilised to build a home for the family.
Let's all come together and help build a safe home for Deepak's family. Even the smallest help will lift the burden off Deepak's shoulders and allow him to focus on providing education to his daughter while taking care of the medical expenses of his ageing parents.
P.S. Deepak is our house help, working at our home for more than 7 years now. He is one of the most sincere, hard-working, and dedicated employees we have had.
