The Anubis-Tiger Foundation is an NGO based in Chowpatty, Mumbai. Their team works tirelessly to rescue and re-home abandoned and abused dogs. They are now working towards developing a healthy foster care system, a rehabilitation centre and a retirement home that dogs can feel safe and loved in.

I'm Twisha, a dog-trainer based in Mumbai. I had the good fortune of getting to know Deepa, the Chairperson of The Anubis-Tiger Foundation when my family adopted our second dog, a black Labrador puppy called Bagheera. His story like of many other abandoned and abused dogs comes with a sad past but together with constant help from the Anubis-Tiger Foundation, today, 4 months down the line, we've managed to turn Bagheera into a happy, jumping, excited puppy. My family will always be grateful to Deepa for rescuing our little Bagheera out of a bad situation and connecting him to us.
