Hello. I am Deeksha Pandey. In these times of uncertainty and global crisis, I applied to fulfil my dream of studying in the UK. I have been accepted by SOAS University of London and am willing to join from September onward. I intend to study conflict studies which is a greatly important field in today's world, one which is plagued by internal, external and other hidden conflicts. I also wish to make a tangible change in the way victims of conflicts are rehabilitated and strive to find a safe place they can call home. Refugee rehabilitation and assimilation can prove to be a huge benefit to our society and I want to work on ways to make this possible.I want to be able to cover my tuition fee on my own, as my father, like many others is facing a salary cut and I do not wish to burden him further, economically. It has been my sincere and constant dream to study at a university in the UK and hence, any little contribution to this dream would be of great help. Your contribution can help me achieve my dream.
