     As you all know, the current situation of India is facing a catastrophic disaster. The situation is worse and more dangerous in Santipur in Nadia district of West Bengal. The population here is about 3 million, mostly weaver and daily wage earners like daily labours in brick field, rickshaw -pullers, etc.
     Amidst the coronavirus knockdown in Santipur, it has adversely effected lakhs of weavers and daily wage earners, and so on who have no means of income to feed their families for the next few months. With the knockdown being extended, uncertainty and fear of the unknown are taking over.
     It is important that in time like this we show solidarity and come forward to help the ones in need. The situation in rapidly evolving and need to provide relief and support to many more people then I initially anticipated. Please donate and help me. I have started this campaign to raise funds for the same.
     The money raised will be used to :
     We are trying to help the families of those weavers and daily wage earners by supplying them with a grocery kit for next 2/3 weeks, it can be increased if need.
 * To supply weekly kits to the weavers and daily wage earners:    Rice-3kg, Atta-2kg, Dal-500grm, Potatoes- 1 kg, Oil- 500 my,  Sugar -200grm, soyabin - 500grm.
 * The cost of these essential food for a family will be only Rs-300.
 * also mask, sanitizer, soap should be provided to prevent the virus.

     Around 9000 family, 14% of total population of Santipur lives below the poverty line and they are struggling with intense poverty at every moments. Currently, their lives have become more miserable due to knockdown and they do not have enough food in their mouths. I want to put food in the mouths of these people now. I would initially like to give this benefit to an estimate 9000 family.
