Many deaf are from underprivileged background and do not have access to quality education. Being deaf they have very limited resources of knowledge and also very less job opportunities.
Deaf Enable Foundation (run by all deaf people) has been working for the development of the deaf by providing them educational facilities. Their offline and online programs have been benefiting 1000s of youth across India.
For the deaf people, visuals are the only mode of communication and source of learning. So, in order to increase the effectiveness of the virtual classroom program, there is an urgent need to
procure Smart TV for the deaf students. This would equip the deaf with a user friendly and interactive mode of digital learning and it will go a long way for making innumerable youngsters self reliant and help them lead a dignified life.
