Story

*Eco Society India* is a not for profit organization based in South Chennai and focusing on ecosystem restoration and community development. Due to lockdown, many daily wage worker families were hit hard since they were living with a meagre income. The beneficiaries are selected only when they are in need of help and we are distributing groceries kits to the poorest of the poor daily wage worker families living in thatched houses.

Unprivileged Irula tribals and Narikuravas who have lost their livelihood and who have no means to earn during this lockdown were given priority for this COVID19 relief program.

We will be distributing groceries kits worth Rs 1085/- each to 1200 narikuravas and Irula tribal families living in and around Chennai before the end of July 2020.
