My name is D K Bhargav Achary, I am a student researcher. I am here to raise funds for my father D Jagannath Achary, who is 56 years old. D Jagannath Achary lives in Berhampur, Odisha with his spouse and is working as a Primary School Teacher.

D Jagannath Achary suffered from a Severe Brain Hemorrhage and subsequently is paralyzed for 3+ months. His brain was operated twice during the sequence of the last few months. First time at Kalinga Hospital, Bhubaneswar. Later, he was again operated at Utkal Hospital, Bhubaneswar for the cranioplasty. D Jagannath Achary received care and treatment for the rest of the time at the rehabilitation center named HospiHome, Bhubaneswar. Currently, he is fully left paralyzed and residing at his home and receiving very limited medical facilities due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Through these traumatic times, D Geetanjali Achary (his spouse) is suffering from major depression and is under medications. D K Bhargav Achary (his son) is on leave from his research studies and is currently receiving no stipend/salary. Until now, his family has spent about Rs. 800000 and the treatment is to be continued for several weeks.

We managed to arrange for the medical expenditures from savings & loans, and now we are in a financial crisis. In subsequent months, we need more funds for further treatment.
