WATCH OUR STORY HERE: A Hand For The Future
Our Story:
This fundraiser is for 24 Indian surfing athletes supported by the Surfing Swami Foundation.
They include:
- 4 state-level athletes who are competition-ready and preparing for major Indian and international surfing events.
- 20 young, upcoming surfers (ages 5–17) from coastal communities who are training and competing with the dream of representing India in the future.
What they lack is access — access to travel, proper equipment, professional training, and basic nutrition needed to compete at their best.
When do we need the funds?
This is a time-bound fundraiser for the current competition season.
Surf competitions are scheduled over the next few months, including events in Varkala, Mangalore, Covelong, and an advanced training camp in Bali. If funds are not raised now, athletes will be forced to miss competitions or train without the resources they need.
Once the season passes, the opportunity is lost.
How will the funds be used?
All funds raised will be used only for athlete support, including:
- Travel to domestic and international competitions
- Training and coaching, including advanced training under international-level coaches
- Surfboards and safety equipment suited to competition conditions
- Basic nutrition to support performance and recovery during training and events
Every rupee goes directly towards helping these athletes train, travel, and compete — nothing more, nothing less.
This is not charity! This is about making sure talent does not stop because of money.
With your support, these athletes get a real chance to represent India — not just in spirit, but on the water.
