The current pandemic situation has brought a lot of unrest and uncertainty in our everyday lives. With patients and front-line workers braving their lives to fight the Corona virus on the daily, we, a team of students from Chennai, thought of an initiative that can spread smiles and cheer during these tough times. We have collaborated with a few hospitals in the city and agreed to send both the patients and hospital staff’s postcards. These have personalized “Thank you” letters for the staff and “get well soon” letters for the patients. However, we require funds to keep this campaign going and help to send out as many postcards as possible. Something as small and heartfelt as a letter applauding patients and workers for their courage has the potential to spark joy and resilience in their lives.
