Bihar is one of the poorest states in India, and a large part of the population lives in villages, where they do not have access to basic medical facilities. During this second deadly wave of COVID, the villagers are still the most neglected and vulnerable ... We are sending help, where no one else is going...with my own family in the village, and an on-the ground NGO (registered as a non profit in India) with ~6000 to 8000 volunteers, we can reach remote villages and make a difference and save lives ...

Please do your bit, and give them a shot at surviving this pandemic... Donate to ...

1. Support vaccination drives in the villages - The government will not reach them soon enough. A mere ~$10 can get 1 villager a privately acquired vaccine dose. Help a person, a whole family, or adopt a whole village. Make a difference.

2. Provide ambulance services to ferry the critically ill from villages to towns, so they can get access to doctors and medical care.

3.  Raise awareness for COVID appropriate behavior and distribute masks to the poorest rural communities.

4. Source and distribute O2 concentrators to hospitals and oximeters/ temperature scanners to the villages.

I take personal accountability for each rupee being directed towards actual usage. And, will provide a detailed statement of accounts for each donor - no matter how much you contribute. The large NGOs and Foundations have a lot of work to do in the biggest cities, where covid is rampant. We want to help them by doing the same in rural Bihar.

Thank you for helping...
Ritu (On behalf of Family and Friends in Bihar, India)
