    This fundraiser will benefit

    COVID-19 patients across Bengaluru

    from Bengaluru, Karnataka

Tax benefits for INR donations will be issued by Rotary Bangalore South Parade Trust

With the recent COVID pandemic, India is going through unprecedented crises with 3L+ cases in a 24-hour period & fatalities at ~3500 with innumerable numbers going uncounted. Karnataka as it stands has the highest Active cases and adding 30K+ additional cases daily with Bangalore alone contributing to 60% of the Active numbers (3.59 Lakh). The pandemic has choked our health care system with severe shortages of oxygen beds, medical supplies, and overburdened medical workers and a burgeoning increase in cases every day is adding to the existing woes.

The current unprecedented times have seen several people going out of their way to utilize their skills and resources to help patients and frontline workers. In order to do our small bit to help lives during the current crises, a bunch of us, schoolmates from Bangalore in association with Rotary Bangalore South Parade have set up a small fundraiser to procure 5 Oxygen Concentrators. We intend to donate these to hospitals/Covid Care Centres. Do check out the latest COVID response from Rotary here for further details.

Feel free to contact us  at covidsangha@gmail.com anytime and we will be happy to answer any of your questions.

A 10L Oxygen Concentrator (ideal for COVID patients, mild/severe as advised by senior doctors) would cost upwards of INR 1,00,000 (incls GST) and the total target that we intend to raise is 5 lakhs.
