Raahat Animal Hospital & Vegan Sanctuary is one of the initiatives of People for Animals, Dehradun. We are a Charitable Trust, registered under Sec 80(g) of the IT Act and Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA.)
WHAT WE DO:
We work to provide food, shelter, medical aid to the community animals of Dehradun and beyond. We have been working for over 20 years, running a recovery facility, a rescue service, and various outreach programs.

We also provide lifetime care and protection to special needs animals and animals rescued from slaughter/cruelty.We are a vegan sanctuary and serve nutritious, freshly made vegan meals to the rescue dogs in our care.

Our hospital & sanctuary is currently progressing through a significant rebuilding and expansion phase. As part of this ongoing transformation, we are preparing to strengthen our diagnostic and treatment facilities through essential medical upgrades.
These upgrades are a crucial component of our long-term objective to create an efficient one-stop facility where injured and critically ill animals can receive comprehensive care- from admissions and diagnostics to surgery and recovery- within our hospital campus itself.
