Dangipara in the heart of Siliguri started off as a slum but has since moved on to better things. While the locality's residents have done well over the years, with many families moving out of poverty, the sanitation and sewage system in the area of around 400 families has remained very much still of the slums. The government for various reasons has turned a blind eye to the issue. We plan to conduct a thorough sanitation survey to earmark the poblems points and suggest solutions to the government, and with their help try to address them. This is a part of our Zilla Darjeeling Project that aims to make this West Bengal district the cleanest in the country by 2029.
