Case 1: Kaajal, a gentle, female Rottweiler, was abandoned at a Noida shelter in extremely poor condition. Malnutritioned and skeleton-like in appearance, she initially seemed to be a young dog. However, it turned out that she was a breeder reject, had been bred to within an inch of her life, and suffered from various physical problems that did not allow her poor little body to absorb any nutrients. She was quickly put into foster care at my boarding and taken to many vets for a cure. Her condition has finally been diagnosed as Acute Pancreatitis, and she is on special medication and a pre-digested diet. Although she is now better, tending to her needs costs about Rs 20,000 a month!
Case 2: Tony, a young spitz boy, was again abandoned at the shelter. He suffered from extreme nervousness and, consequently, displayed unacceptable social behavior. He has now been sterilized and calmed down. I am also looking for a loving home for him.
Please help Kaajal and Tony get better physically and stay at my boarding till they are adopted. All volunteer funds have now dried up and if we don't receive funding, they will have to return to the shelter, which will negate all efforts made over the past several months to rehabilitate them.
