In India, this plummets to 30%! And the real tragedy is this.. the cost of treatment in most cases is probably less than S$10K. It’s a small price to pay for a life.

CanKids KidsCan, the National Society For Change For Childhood Cancer In India partners with hospitals, medical professionals, and state governments to enable access and best standards of treatment, care and support across 58 cities and 22 states of India.
Led by Poonam Bagai, herself a cancer survivor, CanKids was founded in 2014
& is present in 149 hospitals across India. Through our signature program YANA - we provide accommodation through Home away from Homes, drugs and diagnostics support, patient transport, blood support, nutrition and hygiene counselling and supplementation, rations. Our teachers keep the children learning, the psychologists provide childlike and counselling support, and our parent moms turned patient navigators hold the hands of the families through the cancer journey letting them know You Are Not Alone!
