InkLink charitable Trust is an organization which is dedicated to the empowerment & upliftment of crime affected children and women. Most of the trust's work has been centered around Kannaginagar, a crime-infested tsunami resettlement colony in the south of Chennai. Dr. Kaustav Sengupta & Mrs. Shaswati Sengupta(Lily aunty) are the founders of InkLink charitable Trust. They have done a decade's worth of work, from teaching English to children, to teaching the women how to create and sell artwork and crafts, teaching environmental management such as: waste segregation, repurposing waste, sanitation, hygiene and so on. They have had a significant impact on the lives of the people that they have worked with and they are well recognized and appreciated in society.
Due to a devastating accident, all the family members are hospitalized and they are into the situation of not able to help the students of Kannagi nagar in this year. Every year , they sponsor the education fees for 10/15 children to make sure the children continue their formal schooling so that those children will not fall into the juvenile crime trap again. Kannaginagar is a place where crime rates, juvenile crime, child abuse and child marriage are still high and common till day.
In this scenario, another social organisation, GoPaaadhai have decided to help the founders to raise funds for around 10-15 students. Gopaadhai is a youth led organisation which helps less privileged children. Gopaadhai has been in partnership with InkLink charitable Trust since 2019.
The requirements for each students will be for their notebooks, stationery, dress, shoes, school bag, lunch box, water bottle and food expenses along with the school fees which will be Rs. 5000/- per student.
Please donate for this noble cause and together we all can make a huge difference in supporting them achieve their dreams.
Thank you one and all!!
