    This fundraiser will benefit

    children in rural schools

    from Dehradun, Uttarakhand

Project Aim:
The aim of our project is to provide students with underprivileged backgrounds, and in rural schools, the opportunity to learn robotics and gain hands-on experience with programming and engineering, learning how to make machines that are capable of interacting with the real world.
The project will encourage children to create their own ideas, they can be capable of making a variety of machines for example
  • Creating automatic doors or hand sanitiser dispensers using ultrasonic(distance) sensors
  • Making automatic plant waterers using moisture sensors for
  • Predicting the weather using humidity, wind, pressure and temperature sensors
  • Making moving controllable robots using servos and relays
We want to
  • Equip schools with the resources needed to give students hands-on experience,
  • Provide a structured learning program for teachers to use or students to learn on their own
Through this project, we can foster an interest in such fields, inspire students to pursue STEM fields and develop problem-solving, critical thinking and creativity skills that are all highly valued today

Project Impact
So far I have been teaching in schools in Chidderwala, Pauri and in Luxmi Narayana Temple. As I am I high school student, I come and teach for at least a week, around twice a year to help out the school.

I hope to be able to make these schools self-reliant in teaching the children and provide them with the resources needed to get started and keep teaching.
