Our little firecracker, Inaaya, turns one on the 22nd of October 2019. From a little bright eyed, cooing newborn to an incredibly curious, vivacious, chattering toddler, she has brought immeasurable joy to our lives. We are lucky enough to be able to give her everything she needs and more. And she is lucky to have so many family members and friends (like family) who have showered her with love and presents over the last year.  

We'd like to mark her first birthday by helping children who aren't so lucky. We have chosen to support the Servants of the People Society that runs Balwadis (pre-schools) in 18 different slums and resettlement colonies in Delhi for children in the 3-4 year age group. Every year they give all the kids a full uniform on Children’s Day which includes a full trouser/ tunic, shirt, shoes, socks and a sweater. We are donating money to help them buy these uniforms which will not only clothe them while at the Balwadis but give them critical protection from the cold Delhi winter.

Each uniform set will cost them Rs 480/- this year. We are aiming to raise money for as many uniforms as possible. No contribution is too small. Help us spread a tiny bit of the joy that Inaaya brings to other little children as well.
