Meet Our Little Fighter

My daughter, Sharanya Chakraborty, is just 3 years and 9 months old. Like any child her age, she loves to play, laugh, explore the world around her, and fill our home with joy. As parents, we dreamt of watching her grow up, go to school, and live a happy, healthy life. But our lives changed forever in 2024 when Sharanya was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), a form of blood cancer.

Our First Battle Against Cancer

The diagnosis shattered our world, but we refused to give up. We faced every hospital visit, chemotherapy session, test, and sleepless night with hope and determination.

Without seeking any financial assistance, we managed her treatment ourselves by using our savings and every resource we had. It was a difficult journey, but seeing Sharanya fight so bravely gave us the strength to keep going. We believed the worst was behind us.

When Our Worst Fear Became Reality

In April 2026, our hopes were shaken once again. Sharanya developed severe headaches and vomiting that continued for two days. On the third day, when we rushed her to the hospital, doctors feared that the cancer had reached her brain. After multiple tests and scans, on 18th April 2026, we received the devastating news that Sharanya had been diagnosed with CNS + MRD Level relapse, meaning the leukemia had returned in her Brain and Bone Marrow and this time was far more aggressive than before. Hearing that the cancer was back was heartbreaking for our family.

She is currently undergoing treatment at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, Varanasi, and will soon be shifted to the Post Graduate Institute of Child Health, Noida for further treatment.

A Bone Marrow Transplant Is Her Best Hope

After careful evaluation, doctors have advised an urgent Bone Marrow Transplant as Sharanya’s best chance at long-term survival and recovery. The estimated cost of the transplant and associated medical care is approximately ₹18,00,000.

After funding her previous treatment entirely on our own, arranging this amount has become impossible for our family.
