My brother is only 15 years old. He was shot and suffered a severe injury to his large intestine. What followed has been three months of nonstop pain, fear, and suffering that no child should ever have to endure.
After undergoing gastrointestinal surgery, his condition kept getting worse. He developed a serious blood infection and was admitted to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College & Hospital, Aligarh, where he remained from 10 November 2025 to 19 January 2026.
On 20 January 2026, everything collapsed. He started bleeding uncontrollably. His haemoglobin dropped to just 3, Doctors tried everything multiple blood transfusions but the bleeding would not stop. Watching him fade in front of us was terrifying.
He was immediately referred to Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, where he was admitted to the emergency department and shifted to the ICU. Today, he is on a ventilator, fighting for his life. His liver is severely damaged, and he is suffering from jaundice. Every hour is critical.
We have spent over ₹80 lakhs already. Yet the treatment cannot stop, because stopping means losing him.
