My name is Malleshwar Rao, and I am the father of a precious baby girl who is only 3 days old. What should have been the happiest time of our lives has suddenly turned into a heartbreaking struggle to save our daughter’s life.
When our baby was born, she cried only once. After that, she stopped responding normally, and the doctors immediately noticed serious complications. Due to her critical condition, the doctors at Greenleaf Hospital urgently suggested NICU care and referred our baby to Ankura Hospital in Hyderabad for advanced treatment and continuous monitoring.
Right now, my little daughter is in the NICU on a ventilator, fighting for every breath. Seeing such a tiny baby connected to machines and struggling to survive is the most painful experience any parent could face.
At the same time, my wife is still admitted at Greenleaf Hospital, recovering from childbirth, while our newborn baby fights for her life separately in the NICU at Ankura Hospital. As parents, this separation and uncertainty have been emotionally devastating for our family.
Our daughter requires immediate and specialized medical treatment, constant monitoring, medicines, and intensive neonatal care. The doctors have informed us that the treatment is both critical and time-sensitive. The estimated medical expenses have now reached nearly ₹15,00,000, which is far beyond what we can afford.
Every single day is a battle for our little baby. We are doing everything possible to save her, but we cannot do this alone.
