Ankita Kumbhar

5 yrs old Ankita, the second child of her parents (Mr Anil Kumbhar & Mrs Geeta Kumbhar)  is the whole family’s apple of the eye. The happy family of four’s troubles started when Ankita was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia.

Aplastic anemia is a condition that occurs when your body stops producing enough new blood cells. Ankita went through multiple hospital admissions for blood transfusion and investigations. Fortunately for her, she found a match in her sister, and she was eligible to undergo a Bone Marrow Transplant. However, hailing from the interiors of Karnataka, the family couldn’t afford the expensive procedure to save their daughter from all the trouble.

At this point of time, Cherish Life India Foundation stepped in and gave the family hope that she could eventually live a normal life without any worry.
She has been provided full support from the expert guidance of the team of doctors at Sion Hospital. She will soon undergo the transplant and for this we need your support to enable her to go on and live a life, free of routine blood transfusions and medications.

To support Ankita throughout the treatment we need 8 to 10 lakhs for a Bone Marrow Transplant.
