All funds will go towards providing kids with cancer affordable medicines and treatments, transport and accommodation near treating centres, school at the hospital, and many other crucial healthcare interventions.
On Feb 15, 2022, celebrated as International Childhood Cancer Day, CanKids and the Government of Gujarat signed an MoU to make cancer care for children a priority. CanKids works with 9 Cancer Treating Centres, runs 2 Home Away from Homes, and has a State Care Coordination Centre in Gujarat; all of this in order to improve Access2Care and Survival in the state of Gujarat.
As the state government’s knowledge and technical partner, we plan to work with all stakeholders to create a ‘Hubs and Spokes’ or ‘Shared Care’ model for the state with the support of the government of Gujarat. Through it, we will ensure that we increase children's access to cancer care from the existing 54% to 100%.

The 10th CanKids Childhood Cancer Access To Care Car Rally
Participants will drive over 1200 Kms. The route includes Ahmedabad, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Vadodara, and Surat, where our rallyists will not only be raising money but also awareness on childhood cancer in various schools, hospitals, and villages.These adventurers are raising money for the treatment of children with cancer.You can help our rallyists #CloseTheCareGap for children with cancer and their families, who face barriers at every level of the healthcare system, like the distance of care centres, knowledge gaps among healthcare professionals, social stigma, and poor public infrastructure.
