Story

In my 6 years as an animal rescuer, I have come across a lot of amazing cases. This has been even more so in the past few years as part of Citizens For Animal Protection Foundation. Like last year, I am back with another special fundraiser for my birthday.

One of our recent rescues, Brownie has created a special place in my heart. She was reported to us on the helpline with an unknown neurological condition. She couldn't keep herself still and was constantly moving when she is fully conscious. Due to this condition, she is constantly bullied and dominated by other dogs on the street.

The first diagnosis we received is that the condition is unknown and can only be diagnosed by a neurologist. We moved her to Freedom Farman animal shelter currently being built in Kasarvadavli, Thane, Maharashtra.

The plan is to get her fully diagnosed and provide support to her. Depending on the condition, we will proceed ahead with possible treatment.

Having been treated for Epilepsy and having a movement disorder myself, I felt more connected to her and really wish to make a difference for her. So for this year's Birthday gift, I wish to raise a certain amount to ensure her condition is diagnosed and we are able to keep her healthy and happy at Freedom Farm.

To know her better, I insist that you come to meet her (and many more amazing animals) at Freedom Farm. I am sure that you will fall in love.

The current expected cost may changed based on the diagnosis we receive. But, the start of the fundraiser would be to ensure we do have one.
