You are reading this sentence but my students in 10th grade from a low-income English medium school in Bangalore cannot. But mind you, we are here to change that.

As part of my 2-year Teach For India Fellowship, I am working with 90 students studying in GHS Kadapaswammy Mutt in Binnipete, Bangalore. As they walk into their classrooms after two-years of learning loss and reduced focus and attention, they have been welcomed with broken benches, shattering roofs and a complete lack of art/study/activity paper and resources.
Enter, us.

What are we doing about it?
Onboarding a full-time therapist to help the students work through difficult emotions and give academics a good shot.
Purchasing a portable projector to enable video-based learning into the classroom.
Printing worksheets for every day practise practise and more practise.
Buying art supplies to allow them to express their emotions better (thanks to our background in  arts in education + the expressive arts therapies).
Building a library for exposure building.
Snacks for after-school activities.

While we are giving our heart soul and limited stipend to this, a tiny amount of your money here would really help. Don’t worry, we promise to do justice to it.
