On October 11th, my brother suffered a severe accident when an auto-rickshaw overturned, leaving him with critical injuries and in trauma. His brain has only partially recovered, with 30-40% improvement, but he is still facing complications such as cerebral edema and contusions in the frontal lobe. Alongside this, nine of his ribs are fractured, with some of the broken ribs penetrating his lungs, leading to a dangerous accumulation of blood and fluid. This has caused intense pressure on his lungs, making it difficult for them to function properly.

The most urgent concern is the condition in his chest, particularly at the cardio-thoracic point, where he is struggling to breathe and relies on external oxygen support. To alleviate the pressure and drain the blood and fluid buildup (pneumothorax), he urgently needs chest-draining surgery. Unfortunately, after covering the hospital bills thus far, I am financially depleted and unable to meet the high costs of further treatment. Any assistance towards his medical expenses would mean a great deal to us and could make the difference in saving his life.
