We are presently working in rural areas of Karnataka and we have our partner organization Vatsalya Trust in Hospet. They are working with persons with disabilities and presently during the COVID19 crisis, the families are in an acute shortage of essential supplies.
Most of the families earn from daily wage labor on farmlands, vehicle drivers and having person with disabilities has increased their risk during these crisis times. We wish to reach out to 40 families of the students of Vatsalya Trust to supply basic necessities at the earliest. The villages in Hospete are distant from each other and hence it is important to reach them for their survival. We will take ownership of proper distribution and relief. Persons with disabilities are at the brink of the risk since they have low immunity and our efforts are mainly to keep the families healthy and strong to combat the conditions.
