Skill Ghar is an Educational Institute based at Dibrugarh, Assam providing training to unprivileged children at free of cost and others at a subsidized fee. The mission of Skill Ghar is empowerment of youth and making each of the students self independent by providing them necessary skills required.

But the COVID-19 pandemic has affected educational system, as near total closures of schools, universities and colleges. School closures impacted not only students, teachers, and families, but have far-reaching economic and societal consequences. For more than 2 months our centre is being closed and we are not able to generate any revenue. As a result we are not able to give salaries to our faculties and non teaching staff for their daily needs and all. Moreover we are not able to take online classes as most of the students are from rural areas ad they do not have any access to internet and smart phones.
So the amount raised from this cause will be utilized to improve the infrastructure of the institute as well as to provide continuous services to the students without any interventions. We will also provide phones to students who cannot afford to buy on their own.
