Chamu, an alum of 2000-2004 batch from Kumaon Engineering College, Dwarahat (Now BTKIT), was leading a happy life and then covid hit. He lost his job and was out of job for a long time. Suddenly, he had severe stomach ache and he was rushed to the hospital. He was diagnosed with liver damage. He went through treatment for many months and tried very hard to survive. Unfortunately, he succumbed to the disease on 14th April 2024.
Chamu belonged to a small village in Didihat(Distt. Pithoragarh) in Uttarakhand. He is survived by his wife Bhawana, daughter Pavani(10Y) and son Aditya(6Y). Bhawana is a housewife and plans to start looking for a job. As she is living in a small town hence it's a very difficult for her to get a decent paying job. They have lost all the savings in his treatment and are left with very limited funds. We are raising the funds to support his family and kids' education.
Chamu had lost his father at a very young age and his mother also left later on. His wife is alone to manage the kids.Every contribution counts hence request you to please share the campaign with your friends, family and, social network. You can reach out to me for any query.
