My name is Swathy Bhaskar, and I am here to raise funds for my father, Bhaskar V, who is 58 years old, and our family is currently facing the most frightening time of our lives.A few weeks ago, my father was diagnosed with end-stage heart failure and was urgently admitted to the ICU as his condition worsened rapidly. Seeing him in this state has been extremely painful for our family.

He has always worked tirelessly to support our family, but today he is fighting for his own life. He is currently admitted and receiving intensive care. His condition is critical, his heart is nearing a crash, and his kidneys are at risk of shutting down due to his worsening condition.
At present, he is on an Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) for cardiac support, as his heart is unable to pump effectively on its own. However, doctors have informed us that this temporary support can sustain him only for about 5 days.

The doctors initially evaluated him for a heart transplant, which is the last treatment option for his condition. However, due to the severity of his current condition, he was unable to pass the transplant eligibility tests at this stage. To stabilise his heart function and make him eligible for a transplant in the future, doctors have advised urgent implantation of a Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) within the next 5 days. The LVAD will help his heart pump blood and serve as a bridge to heart transplant, giving him a chance at survival and recovery.

This is a highly specialised and life-saving procedure requiring prolonged medical care and continuous monitoring.

So far, we have already spent approximately ₹20,00,000 on his treatment, ICU charges, medications, and emergency procedures.
We arranged this amount through our savings and by taking loans, exhausting all our financial resources. Despite our efforts, the expenses continue to rise every day.

In the next few days, we urgently need ₹1,10,00,000 more for his further treatment, including the LVAD procedure, ICU care, and post-operative support. This amount is far beyond what our family can arrange on our own, but it is essential to continue his life-saving care.

I am only 23 years old, a recent graduate working as an associate-level engineer, and currently the only earning member of our family. The emotional and financial burden is overwhelming, and we cannot fight this battle alone.
