In 2022, Saree Stories was born out of a desire to empower women with disabilities at the Better World Shelter in Chennai. Through the collective effort of many, we raised funds to help these inspiring women start'Storead', a small accessories and apparel  rooted in creativity and resilience.

Two years later, Storead has blossomed into a successful venture, proving the determination and talent of these women. Their beautiful designs and handcrafted products have gained recognition and support, but they now face a new challenge: scaling their business to reach its full potential.
To take Storead to the next level, these women need a multi-needle embroidery machine. This machine will allow them to:
    •    Create intricate embroidery designs, adding unique touches to their products.
    •    Expand into new categories like embroidered accessories and personalized apparel.
    •    Increase the quality and specialization of their work, enabling them to charge higher prices and boost their revenue.
