"Barwala" needs your help!
We are raising funds for "Barwala", Nahur's community street dog who is currently battling for his life.
"Barwala" is an old "stray" dog residing in the lanes of "Shukla Compound", right opposite CEAT Tyre Limited, Nahur Village, Nahur West. He sits in front of a "Bar" hence the name "Barwala".
Due to gross human negligence, Barwala is currently battling for his life. "Barwala" was under treatment as his tail was bitten by another dog. The deep tail wound needed rigorous dressing daily. Unfortunately, after a month's treatment, "Barwala" came back with low platelets, low haemoglobin, tick fever and kidney issue.
Currently "Barwala" is getting IV treatment at Thane SPCA which costs Rs 400 per day. His foster charges are Rs. 400 per day and his ambulance charges are Rs. 1000 per day. He is traveling to and fro as the hospital wants to avoid cross infections and do not want to put any dog's life at jeopardy by admitting him at their center. As his solo feeder and caretaker, I have exhausted all my finances for the existing treatment.
We are raising Rs. 30,000 for Barwala as the bills need to be paid by the 30th December. Your single contribution can go a long way in helping this voiceless soul recover from the negligence and suffering inflicted on him.
