Hello,
My name is Vinay, and I’m reaching out to you with hope and desperation to ask for your support in saving my wife, Bama Babu.
Bama is currently admitted to St. John’s Hospital, Bangalore. She has been diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) and Bone Marrow Failure, which has now progressed to Aplastic Anemia — a life-threatening condition where her body is no longer able to produce the blood cells needed to survive.
Bama lost both her parents when she was just 7 years old. Life was cruel to her far too early. Now, she’s a mother herself — to our 7-year-old daughter, who is watching her mother fight for her life, and wondering when she’ll come back home.
Doctors have determined that a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and ATG Therapy is her best chance at survival. It’s an intensive and risky procedure, but it gives us hope.
The transplant procedure and post-procedure care alone is expected to cost ₹35 lakhs.
We have already spent over ₹22 lakhs so far — all from our savings and help from close friends. We do not have insurance, and we’ve been paying everything entirely out of pocket.
Now, we are at a point where we can no longer do this alone. I’m humbly asking for your support through donations, prayers, or by simply sharing this appeal with others.
Every contribution will go toward giving Bama the treatment she urgently needs, and hopefully, bringing her back to the daughter who needs her the most.
