Last weekend (April 7th) my father (K.L Balachandra) was admitted in Yashoda Hospital Malakpet as he was suffering with high fever(105degrees) and his CBB report showed variation in platelet & WBC count, post examining his health condition doctors confirmed it is blood Cancer (Acute Myeloid Leukemia, type M3) and was immediately shifted to ICU.

After 24hrs of observation by doctors he was moved out from ICU to CCU and doctors advised that he needs to undergo chemotherapy for which he needs to be in hospital for at least 20 days to observe his situation. Doctors advised his treatment would cost 20 lakhs depending on his medical condition. During the course of his chemotherapy treatment he was facing sever headache problem which was diagnosed in MRI as acute infarcts in his brain.
On13th April evening his breathing problem(Lung infection) increased due to which he was again shifted to ICU on ventilator support and yesterday doctors recommended for dialysis (SLED - Slow efficiency dialysis) to maintain the potassium and acid levels in patients body. Due to blood cancer it has impacted some organs(Lung, brain, internal bleeding in eyes) in his body making his recovery progress slow.

So far with the help of medical insurance we could get assistance for 1 week treatment which cost 5,50,000. we are able to manage his treatment for this week but looking at his current medical situation we anticipate more funds to continue with his treatment as per his situation hence we are looking for some financial aid for my fathers treatment.
