It is manifestly unfortunate that Babu Singh, our friend is battling a fight against cancer. I have never thought that I would approach you someday for this.

Brief about disease & background: Since last few months, Babu has been undergoing tremendous health related problems. Finally, after diagnosis it was found that he has been suffering from cancer in vocal cord. Since he is the only earning member in the family of 6(2 small kids, wife, old aged parents), currently he is struggling to get limited treatments due to lack of fund.

As soon as his 2nd Covid Vaccine, is finished, the family can shift him to a dedicated cancer hospital for further treatment. Not to mention, since the disease is very critical, he must complete the vaccination to avoid any increased risk. For those who are unaware, I would like to bring this into notice that the medical facility for treatment of cancer, related infrastructure, doctor's support, medication and patient care etc. in Silchar, Assam (a state in the North Eastern part of India) is very poor and far behind than any developed part or cities of India.

Babu has served as reputed football coach, he is a member of All Assam Football Coach Association and currently based out of Silchar. Sports community is also worried and praying for his speedy recovery and they have conveyed the same in local newspaper.

His family stands with him unconditionally and is also finding it extremely difficult to afford the treatment & medical costs now. Request you all to extend your helping hand for this cause.
