I am working as Secretary in Baba Ramdev Seva Sansthan Jalore. Since last few days we are seeing that some stray cows and bulls are struggling on the roads. Their skin is infected and bleeding profusely. Locals and a vet confirmed that it was lumpy disease and required medicines and regular dressings and injections. Animals are dying due to disease progression. They are unable to walk to find food. Day by day his health is deteriorating.Now the plan is to appoint a private vet with an assistant who can treat the cows/oxen. For the above treatment, around Rs 3,00,000 will be required.
