Last year, you supported us with funds and encouraging messages that bolstered the morale of our team and women drivers. A big thank you for that!
With your support, our women drivers got paid every single month last year. This meant that they could take care of their families in terms of education & health and keep out of debt.
The drivers, in turn, were able to reach out to over 16,500 families amongst their neighbours to ensure that they got basic food supplies, medicines, sanitary napkins, etc. They did this from your generous giving and through co-ordinating with government and private bodies working in their communities.
Our women drivers have provided more than 1.5 million safe rides to women in Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata and Indore over the last decade.
Their journey to this stage has been long and arduous; together they have succeeded, and are now able to help others. They have used their earnings to transform their lives and that of their children, siblings and families. They have dared to reclaim their dignity and identity.
Now, the second wave of the pandemic brings us back to you, with a request to help us to continue to support our women drivers. They have worked hard to get where they have reached – fighting their own doubts and that of others. They can earn only while they drive. We cannot allow them to slide back.
Over the next three months, your support will make sure that:

Over the next three months, your support will make sure that:
- Women drivers will be paid on time.
- Every woman driver and trainee woman driver is able to protect herself and her family from Covid-19 (masks, protective gear, vaccinations) and access full medical treatment as needed.
