Hi!I am a student of Economics at the College Of Vocational Studies, University of Delhi ( Final Year). I recently got selected as a delegate at the very reputed HPAIR (The Harvard Project for Asian & International Relations) - Harvard College Conference which is at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, the USA from 14 February 2020 to 17 February 2020.

I am one of the 200 people shortlisted from an outstanding pool of applicants that included students, professionals, entrepreneurs and inventors from all over the world. More than 3000 people apply for this conference with less than 10% making the cut. I am attaching the admission letter from Harvard for your reference.

This is my 5th international conference acceptance but I have not been able to travel in the past due to financial constraints.

The following are the previous 4 international events that I was selected into
  1. GIS Taiwan, July 2019
  2. HPAIR Nur-sultan, August 2019
  3. Beacon Fellowship, USA
  4. Global Young leaders Program, January 2020

I have launched this campaign to raise funds to cover the cost of attending the Conference. The estimated expenses are as follows:

Conference Fee: INR 35,000
Airfare: INR 70,000
Visa:  INR12000
Stay in US for 1 week, lodging: INR 10,000
Total: INR 1,27,000

I am looking for institutions/enterprises/companies/individuals who can sponsor me for the Harvard experience, which is a dream come true for any student.

About me:

I spent most of my childhood in a 3-tier city of India, Talcher (Odisha). Only after my high school education, I shifted to Delhi as a student of Economics. The problems which I faced living in a rural area were lack of opportunities to develop myself holistically, limited and traditional thinking of the rural people and scarcity of competitive people around.  I acknowledged this fact and channelized the negative energy into my studies proving my score for the mid-80s in 10th to a whopping 97% in 12th boards. I then had a goal, a goal to carry myself out of this place and earn one of the best colleges where I can compete and improve with my peers. Though I could not get into the college I wanted to, acing my district in 12th and getting admission in one of the best universities of India, Delhi University was a relief. From being a very short-tempered and irritable kid, I went onto become an ambitious and responsible boy. The initial days of college were a roller coaster. For the first time in my life, I had more opportunities than I ever had before. All my seniors were smart and engrossed in multiple activities and clubs, all this made me slightly under-confident but I volunteered to participate in all of them.
From there on, I never looked back and it was only growth and improvement for me. Driving my way through hard work and the will to develop, currently in my 3rd year of college, I have the following experience:

-Founder and president, Quonsult (https://www.linkedin.com/company/quonsult-cvs/)
-Brand and business manager for Yash Sharma Fitness (270k YouTube subscribers)
-Head organizer and licensee of TEDxCVS (2019)
-Vice president of the Economics department(2018-19).
-Business planning and project head, Enactus(2017-19).
-Corporate head and debater, Debating society.
- Podcast host (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tN79CRBLMpwNvvxV1gVF4wUxq93RR11f/view?usp=drivesdk)
-Founder, Dodo Ventures, an E-commerce Venture

Why is this important for me?

I'll use the opportunity to:

Refine my business skills as an entrepreneur: Since I don't come from a business background, I have invested and learned from all my own experiences. The exposure that I will get at Harvard would improve me manifolds.

Network: I'll get to talk to, and possibly collaborate with the best minds in the world. Meeting the Professors, students and city people would enlarge my network.

Exposure and confidence: Your dreams become bigger when you are exposed to great things. America is the land of dreams. The mere exposure to the country's culture will expand my brain more than one can imagine.

How can you help me?
