Hi,
My name is Gupta Boda and I am raising funds for my friend, Ashwat who is critical.
A man as rare as his birthday (which falls on the leap year), Ashwat, is the founder of an early stage startup and key contributor of many social impact initiatives. One such being the covidcitizens.org which has been fighting to make Covid care easily accessible to every citizen. His early stage start-up, Futuryze Digital is one of the few product companies that support IMPACT-TECH projects with Fervour and passion. The sole bread earner of his family and creator of livelihoods for many, our friend, needs us now.
Ashwat was admitted on June 8th with severe infection (called SBP) and discharged for home care with continuous monitoring until a transplant donor is found. He is currently under the care and treatment of the Integrated Liver Care Team at Private Hospital, Bangalore.
He is an unfortunate victim of the sudden onset of Wilson’s disease - a rare genetic disorder characterized by excess copper stored in body tissues; since the disease is progressive, if left untreated, it can cause liver (hepatic) disease, central nervous system dysfunction, and death. In less than 8 weeks, from diagnosis of Wilson's in April his situation has escalated to complete liver damage. The only treatment option now is Liver transplantation. His liver is currently in a state of Decompensated Cirrhosis, with Kidney involvement (Hepato Renal Syndrome), which is irreversible and the transplant will need to happen in a couple of weeks to save his life.
The family has done what they can to collect the total amount required for the treatment but we need Rs.50,00,000 (Fifty Lakhs) more to ensure he can cover all the medical expenses, pre and post transplant. As the amount required is huge, I request you to kindly contribute towards the treatment and help during this time of need. Each contribution is important!
Please help us raise this amount by clicking on the donate button and sharing this page with your friends and family.
We are grateful for your help and wishes.
Thank you
