A group of Kondh Adivasi youth are planning to set up a library for school going children in their village Devarapalli in the Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. While the village has a primary school, it remains closed due to the pandemic, and there are no libraries or spaces from which to access books nearby. Around 30 - 40 young children in this remote village would greatly benefit from a library in their neighbourhood. The basic books have already been organised, but a library room needs to be constructed to house the books.
