Master Ashok is admitted to the hospital for the last 9 days. He was admitted with fever and convulsions and is on a ventilator for the last 9 days. His diagnosis is acute febrile encephalopathy with ADEM.

He had convulsions and organ dysfunctions which are gradually improving. It will take some more days for him on a ventilator as his sensorium is not showing much improvement. Parents are from a poor background and they find it difficult to find funds for further treatment.

The hospital has helped them with all possible reductions in daily treatment costs but still, medicines and other medical expenses would cost them nearly 2 lakhs to cover his ongoing treatment. Kindly contribute and help this child in his difficult time.
