Who am I raising funds for?
I support a Jhajjar Haryana based NGO Jeev Daya Shelter Home which started on 28th November 2016. Till date, they've rescued more than 20,000 animals. Every day on an average they give medical attention to almost 25 stray animals and they have given shelter to cows, dogs, monkeys, rabbits, cats. Jeev Daya is non-profit, which means they rely solely on the generosity of donors to operate. Shelter deals with financial challenges every day. They depend on individuals who can donate money to help pay for everyday expenses, food, medicines and other supplies for those animals who are sick.
Why am I raising funds for them?
In order to help this shelter, a handful of try to virtually adopt the strays in need of a home. Sometimes it's only for a short period until the stray can be put in a new home, but usually we only become their new caretakers. So I understand the cost associated with caring for multiple pets. The rescue work that the organization performs on a daily basis has saved the lives of countless pets and will continue to do so as long as we continue to support them in their passionate cause of saving as many lives as possible. These animals don't ask us for a lot, yet they give us everything in the form of unconditional love. The least we can do for them is help out the organization who has been dedicated to help the abandoned pets and strays have a safe, warm home of their own, whether it be temporary or permanent.
Appeal:
Unfortunately, not one person can help, save all of the strays in the world. But with a little effort and compassion, one person can help at least one stray animal through donation. Please donate, these kinds of NGOs always need funds to achieve their missions. A financial donation, no matter how small, can make a major difference in the lives of animals
