My younger brother Aryan(21 yrs old), a student of ABES Engineering College, met with a devastating accident on December 31, 2025, while traveling to appear for his semester examination—an event that changed our lives forever. He suffered a severe diffuse axonal brain injury and has been on continuous ventilator support since then. Complications have affected his lungs, with air trapped inside, making it extremely difficult for him to inhale and exhale. Due to the seriousness of his brain injury, Aryan remains unconscious and unresponsive.
He admitted to the ICU, requiring long-term ventilator support, round-the-clock monitoring, multiple medications, and specialized neurological care. The mounting medical expenses have far exceeded our family’s financial capacity, but we are determined to do everything possible to give him a chance at recovery.
Although he has made some progress, Aryan remains in a critical stage of recovery and requires advanced neurorehabilitation, specialized therapies, regular neurological evaluations, and continuous medical care to maximize his chances of recovery. The cost of his long-term treatment has placed an overwhelming financial burden on our family.
