My name is Aruna Chakraborty Masanta. In April 2024, I was diagnosed with Stage 3C Breast Cancer and began treatment at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai. I underwent a mastectomy on May 2, 2024, followed by six cycles of chemotherapy and 15 sessions of radiation, completed on August,23, 2024.

During treatment, I developed a severe lung infection with fluid accumulation in both lungs, requiring fluid removal. After two months of additional medication, a PET scan in October revealed metastatic cancer spread to my brain, bones, and lungs.

We have already spent around 15 lakh on treatment so far. Unfortunately, I now need brain radiation, high-dose medication, and powerful injections, along with bi-monthly visits to Chennai. The estimated cost for further treatment is an additional 20 lakh, which is beyond our current financial means.

My husband runs a small business, and we have a 12-year-old son and aging parents dependent on us. We are doing all we can, but we need help to continue this life-saving treatment. Any support from Milaap would be a profound blessing and deeply appreciated.
