Thank you to all our dear donors who have supported us to date from India, Singapore, US, Australia, UK and other countries. Your funds have enabled us to feed 2100 daily wage earners impacted by the lockdown. As the lockdown has been extended today to 31 May, we are extending our target to continue feeding 2100 people for the additional 14 days at the same INR 94,000 per day for grains, vegetables, oil and masala (cooking, packaging & distribution costs not included as direct donors are funding those).
Every US$8.4 or INR 630 you donate can feed 1 person for 2 weeks/14 days.

Despite government efforts, there are just too many who need our help. Working with our volunteers, catering partners and the Delhi police, we have been distributing food twice daily since March 27 using our own funds and from personal contacts. From providing one daily meal to 500 people, we went up to 2 meals a day from Apr 1. From Apr 5, total reached 1000 people receiving 2 daily meals as our volunteer group received permission to directly distribute food. With another 1,100 people now reaching out to us, we now have total 2,100 people who need food daily from us while they are under lockdown, which has been extended from Apr 14th up to at least May 3rd. Funds from individual supporters in India, Singapore and US will run out by April 15th - in total, we need funds to provide food for a total of 19 days of which 3 days have been covered by direct donation of INR 4.5 lakhs - so now we need funds for 16 days in total for 2100 people i.e. 24.5 lakh rupees.
Your donation will help a human being receive food and not go hungry.
Every US$1 or INR 71 you donate can feed 1 person for 1 day.
Every person will receive:
- 1 morning meal of one rice item (450gm) with one vegetable/dal lentils gravy (250gm) and
- 1 evening meal of 5 roti/puri bread (200 gm) and one vegetable/dal (250gm)
