Hey guys,
I have received an admit for a Master's course in Quantitative Finance from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.
I worked as a financial professional for 3+ years before I decided to pursue the said course. (I hold a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, was pushed into it by my family, I initially wanted to study physics, maths, and economics.)
Come Covid-19 and the month of August in 2020, I was unemployed, and the hope of masters went down the drain because of the unavailability of Visa Slots as there were very few to begin with.
After learning After Effects, Photoshop, HTML, CSS, and JS, I decided to start a news website. With my leftover savings, I spent quite a lot of time and effort building up the website. You can find the website at the following link.

I am experimenting a lot with the website, had some friends write some articles. But, that is also hitting up a pause.
With hardly any finance to continue the website content curation. I can't carry on the dream of becoming the journalist and cover the financial topics around the globe.
I had also asked the university if I can get any scholarship from the university, but I got no response even after multiple follow-ups.
If I get helped, it'll help me achieve my dream of becoming a Finance Journalist where I explain the concepts and events around the world in layman's terms.
