    This fundraiser will benefit

    Aravind

    from Palakkad, Kerala

Dear well wishers,

I am Hridya and I am writing on behalf of Aravind's mother and his family, whom I know personally for last 18 years. Aravind and his relatives are our close family friends, staying next to my house in Ottapalam, Palakkad Dist., Kerala.

Aravind is a young 21 year old smart guy who recently entered into the world of professional career (less than a year ago) with his hotel management degree. It was a dream come true for his single mother and his dependent joint family.

Aravind met with a tragic incident on the night of 15th March while travelling back  to his hometown from his workplace in Cochin. Due to unfortunate instances, he fell out of the running train with both legs and left hand trapped under the same train. Even in that critical situation, he himself called his mother from railway track with legs and hand crushed in the train accident. He was finally transferred to the nearby govt. hospital by the local shopkeepers and auto drivers . The same night, he was shifted to KIMS Al Shifa Super Speciality Hospital , Perintalmanna for an emergency surgery.

Currently he is out of critical stage, with both legs and left hand amputated due to the crushing railway track injury.

I believe Aravind being a strong and brave person, will truly fight back against the odds to recover from this grievous accident. But as all of us would know, it would need support from the humanity to bear the current hospital expenses that involve multiple surgeries and prepare him for the future challenges and rehabilitation. It is a difficult situation for him and his family and they cannot bear the expenses alone.

What we want to ACHIEVE: To make him mobile with post surgery rehabilitation through prosthesis
What you can do: Kind enough financial support that can help Aravind in this expensive rehabilitation process, fight back to the challenges and survive in his long and bright future. You can also help us in sharing the story and extending the support from your family/friends.

The financial support is required for:-
1. Current hospital expenses
2. Future rehabilitation expenses
3. Making the home disabled friendly with basic amenities like western commode, flooring for wheel chair movement etc.(post -treatment support)

Let us generously help the young and bright guy to lead a meaningful life, which he genuinely deserves.
