With the gift of the blanket, you can save a poor child’s life, a woman could snuggle and sleep after a tiring day, the elderly will keep their bones warm and a father can rest in peace. You can help 2000 people across Hyderabad and Telangana have a lovely warm winter by donating them a blanket. Each blanket costs Rs. 300.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), cold waves kill more people in India than heatwaves. Poor families all across India, especially the homeless, bear the brunt of exposure to severe weather conditions that can lead to illness and in extreme circumstances even death.

Winter is challenging for the people in hilly areas, those living in huts and on the streets, especially for kids from an underprivileged background and vulnerable situations, it is worse even more with Corona Virus around us. Let us help them protect themselves from infections like flu that might make them vulnerable to COVID-19 infections.

 Gift a Blanket Campaign is Initiated by Apnao Foundation. Apnao is a nonprofit registered and operating from Hyderabad. It has done tremendous work helping the migrant families during the Covid-19 lockdown and helped over 500 flood-affected families in Hyderabad by donating blankets and mats.
